The scholarship search process:To find scholarships that match your profile, there are several key steps to follow: 1. Validate your choice of course and institution. Despite the fact that you are not sure of your admission, restricting the search to just your profile already makes it easier. 2. Once your profile has been determined, consult the websites of the universities concerned directly and do not hesitate to contact the service dedicated to international students. 3. Browse as many sources of information as possible to find a scholarship related to your education, nationality, situation, etc… (More info on the different types of scholarship). 4. Browse government sites. They are often a source of links to the most important and well-known programs. A few more tips to get started:Start your research as soon as you can. The deadlines for submitting applications to foreign universities are often in January / February of the previous year. So don't hesitate to start your research for scholarships in September! Then try to find the selection criteria that suit you. Make a list of the criteria which define you and which can give rise to obtaining a grant (art student, researcher, young entrepreneur, unemployed person…). As a student, you can do your research both in the potential host country (ies), further increasing your chances of finding a scholarship. Once your criteria have been found, try searching on the internet with these criteria or on specialized sites. If you are a work-study student or already employed, consider the possibility of having your company finance part or all of your studies abroad.
